Now you can use cross – (muted) and harmonics note heads in any part:

A check box for using the optional cut or common time symbols appears if the selected meter is 4/4 or 2/2:

Repeat bar symbols have now been included as a part of the ordinary symbols palette. The single bar symbol suppresses the rest and centers itself if the bar is empty. The two-bar symbol positions itself on the bar line between the bar getting the symbol and the next, suppressing rests if the bars are empty.

To make life simpler for users working primarily in the notation realm, a playback tempo can now be directly entered in the Tempo mark entering dialog box. Bear in mind that the tempo mark and the tempo change controller is not the same thing, this would not work well in situations with continuous tempo change.
This is how it works:

After the tempo change cursor is positioned correctly, the mouse is clicked and the dialog appears:

If a new tempo is entered in the tempo value field to the right, a tempo change controller is entered in the structure. If the value is not changed, no tempo change is inserted because the correct tempo is already set for the musical position in question.

So, the graphical tempo mark shows the current tempo value of the tempo map, dragging it may change the displayed value. Although the tempo mark and tempo change controller can be generated in one operation, they are independent objects and must be maintained as such.
A tempo conversion symbol has been added to the tempo palette. Checking the ‘Insert tempo change’ item will insert the appropriate tempo change at the beginning of the bar.

Un-checking the ‘Insert tempo change’ item leaves the tempo map as is, and playback will not be according to the graphic symbols. The option is included to draw attention to the fact that the tempo marks and tempo changes are different objects, as described above.
Both single note and dual note tremolo can be displayed. If dual note tremolo is used, the ‘Interv’ item should contain the correct interval between the notes. Un-checking and rechecking of the Dual note item resets the interval to what is most likely given the notated picture. The interval item is needed if a chord is in a dual note tremolo with another chord. Then it must be possible to define the tremolo ‘partner’ of each note.

Fine adjust the positioning of beats and sub beats by click-dragging the position marks on the ruler.

These shortcuts make it faster and easier to do note transform actions.

The transpose dialog has been extended to give better control when a transposition includes key signature change of a whole part, or a section of a part.

Additional selection with shift pressed is now more flexible, as it also can be used for deselection.
