Five new items have been added to the articulation group under the Symbol 1 tab in the note properties dialog:

Flip position of note connected articulations

We have added a ‘flip art(iculations)’  item for the times you do not agree with the default positioning of note connected articulations. It controls the over/under staff positioning of the articulations:
